Deepen Your Senses: Experience what it’s like to lose one of your senses today. Cook a meal blindfolded. Take a vow of silence. Limit the use of your limbs for a day. Write with your non-dominant hand. Or take up the challenge of describing the “Mona Lisa” painting to a visually-impaired person. Fully allow yourself to experience what it’s like to see from a differently-abled perspective. What do you notice? What do you learn? How do you feel, and what holds you back from experimenting further?
